Joe Biden tried to defend his stance on the rioting that has engulfed sections of the country.
The Democrat presidential nominee has already pledged not to use the National Guard and during a speech in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania blamed the violence on President Trump.
As the polls are shifting dramatically away from him, Biden was forced to leave the basement and tried to clarify his position.
“You know me, you know my heart, you know my story, my family’s story,” the Democrat nominee said. “Do I look like a radical socialist, with a soft spot for rioters?”
Well, this picture would say otherwise…
“I look at this violence and I see lives and communities and the dreams of small businesses being destroyed and the opportunity for real progress on issues of race and police reform and justice being put to the test,” the former vice president said.
A couple of days before his speech in Pittsburgh Biden said, “I promise you as president, I’ll never put you in the middle of politics or personal vendettas. I’ll never use the military as a prop or as a private militia to violate the rights of fellow citizens. That’s not law and order. You don’t deserve that.”
Biden also claimed during his speech that he would not ban fracking however, here’s a video of him saying otherwise.
Last year, Biden told a kid to “look at my eyes” and pledged to her “I guarantee you we’re going to end fossil fuels.”

President Trump went to war with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins when she argued about Trump supporters using paintballs against Antifa.
“Paint is a defensive mechanism. Paint is not bullets. Your supporters … and they are your supporters indeed, shot a young gentleman & killed him,” President Trump said.
