Dems Are Going To Lose It When They Figure Out Trump’s New Plan For The Wall

President Trump hasn’t been able to get the support needed from Congress to complete the border wall- that’s not surprising. Nonetheless, the President has been devising a workaround to secure American borders.

He didn’t reveal every detail to his new plan but warned Congress to get it together before the primaries so he doesn’t have to use the card up his sleeve.

While Trump would prefer to fund the approximately $25 billion needed for the wall “the old-fashioned way — get it from Congress,” he told the Daily Mail that he has “other options if I have to.”

Thursday night in Billings, Trump told a Fox News Channel interviewer that ‘we need Republicans elected in the midterms’.

‘We are getting the wall done. But I’ve had so many people, good people, great people – they would rather not do [it] before [November]. They’d rather do it right after the election.’

Trump said he still wants to persuade Congress – preferably one reinforced with more Republicans – to write the checks he wants.

‘Politically speaking, I’d rather get it through Congress. If we don’t, I’m looking at that option very seriously,’ he said aboard Air Force One on Friday, referring to the Defense Department.

As Reported By Monica Showalter With American Thinker:

The border situation is getting extremely violent and ugly, according to a new report from the Washington Times:

“Assaults on ICE agents reached a decade high in 2017, and assaults on Border Patrol agents have also surged in recent years, according to new government numbers that seem to back up agents’ claims that illegal immigrants are increasingly looking to fight rather than flee.

The new numbers, reported by Homeland Security’s inspector general, could even be underselling the problem, investigators said, because the government doesn’t do a good job of tracking incidents, and agents and officers don’t always report them properly.

But the report does signal renewed danger particularly on the southwest border, where agents say a surge in illegal immigration in recent years generally correlates with growing violence.”

Then again, violent illegals is ‘just a right-wing’ myth, right? Wrong, but that’s what the Democrats keep saying. Their words muddying the waters on what is, obviously, a security and safety issue for all Americans. But that doesn’t sit well with their ‘voters’ so I guess the facts simply don’t matter.

It would be nice to see Congress support the President and the American people by working together to secure the border but, as stated before, that isn’t likely. Thank goodness Trump is always thinking ahead.
