Dems Are Trying to Force Their Gender Ideologies down American Throats via Federal Law

Democrats are trying to turn us into Canada or the UK. Places where there are 27 pronouns that must be used or its harassment. It’s not just about language change, it’s about forced acceptance.

We all know that a guy that has changed into girl should not be playing on a female team. It’s just not fair to females. And that’s why it is fitting that the Dems would call their new bill the Equality Act.

House Democrats introduced the Equality Act last week, a measure that would ensure gender ideology — i.e., transgender bathrooms, forced preferred pronoun use, and biological men playing women’s sports, etc. — is cemented into federal law.

H.R. 5, which was introduced with 239 co-sponsors, states its purpose is to “prohibit discrimination on the basis of sex, gender identity, and sexual orientation, and for other purposes.”

The measure would essentially codify gender ideology into federal law.

Prohibiting discrimination and promoting equality sound virtuous, but many serious opponents — including a coalition of conservatives, feminists, lesbians, and Christians — are warning Americans the Equality Act is dangerous legislation that will do anything but create equality. In fact, the measure would likely force American women throughout the country to relinquish their rights to privacy, safety, and the ability to compete in sports “equally.”

It could penalize religious schools and organizations over policies regarding LGBTQ individuals, could force doctors to perform medical operations on those seeking to transition to the opposite sex, and even compel parents to transition children who are suffering from gender dysphoria, said Emilie Kao, director of the Richard and Helen DeVos Center for Religion and Civil Society at the Heritage Foundation.

Kao says the bill could upend women’s sports by making it illegal to block transgender women, who are biologically men, from competing on women’s teams.

“It would totally change the face of athletics,” Kao told the Washington Examiner. “It would not only take away medals, but it would take away scholarship opportunities for girls.”

Our laws should respect the constitutionally guaranteed freedoms of every citizen, but the so-called ‘Equality Act’ fails to meet this basic standard,” ADF Senior Vice President Kristen Waggoner said. “It would undermine women’s equality and force women and girls to share private, intimate spaces with men who identify as female, in addition to denying women fair competition in sports. Like similar state and local laws, it would force Americans to participate in events and speak messages that violate their core beliefs.

We already have proof of how bad these laws can be. We only have to look at Canada or the UK to see what damage this type of legislation can do. Are we really going to let Dems do this to us?
