Sources Inside CNN Weigh In On Cuomo’s Odd Godfather Outburst

CNN Host Chris Cuomo went off the deep end the other day after someone called him Fredo. Fredo as in the younger brother in “The Godfather” that betrays the family. He is seen as a weak character. Cuomo got more than a little upset about the heckler’s comment and got up in his face. He even went as far as to claim that being called Fredo as an Italian person, was the same as calling a black person the N-word. CNN was of course in support of their talent at least publically, but behind closed doors, many felt opposed to Cuomo’s weird confrontation.

One insider said they personally thought the run-in was “great” and that Cuomo would get a pass from higher-ups because “he’s BFFs with [CNN president Jeff] Zucker.” Another said the newsroom chatter was that “everyone thinks it’s fine to stand up to trolls, but it escalated way past where it needed to.” While they said Cuomo generally has a good reputation with the staff, “It was embarrassing.” They added, “It was an unforced error, and he gave the right — and the president — ammunition to use against him and CNN.”

They are right, Cuomo did give us all ammunition to further bash CNN and the left. I mean who gets upset about being called a fictional character from an old movie? I have never heard anyone get so offended by such a weak slight.

But Cuomo is another Liberal and we are constantly seeing that they can not handle the slightest criticism. Just look at the Freshmen House Dems. Pelosi came down on them for voting against a bill to help the border, and they lashed out at her. They called her a racist, accused her of “singling out… the newly elected women of color.” How do you reason with people like this?
