Bernie Sanders says he wants ‘population control’ in what he says are ‘poor countries’ to help fight climate change. That might be the socialist’s most social comment, yet. Like, get this man a red flag and ship him to whatever communist country he ‘identifies with’ because the United States has NEVER supported human population control.
In fact, we’ve dedicated entire investigative teams and countless manhours into documenting China’s warped population control practices. The US has openly condemned places like China so why in the hell would American taxpayers ever agree to the sterilization of so-called ‘poor countries’?
Because Bernie Sanders says so? I think not.
During CNN’s 7-hour long climate change Townhall meeting an audience member asked Sanders: “Human population growth has more than doubled in the past 50 years. The planet cannot sustain this growth. I realize this is a poisonous topic for politicians, but it’s crucial to face.”
She adds: “Empowering women and educating everyone on the need to curb population growth seems a reasonable campaign to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?”
Sanders replied: “The answer is yes, and the answer has everything to do with the fact that women—in the United States of America, by the way—have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions.”
Sanders criticized the Mexico City Agreement that prevents allocation of U.S. federal funding for non-governmental organizations working on abortion-related issues.
“And the Mexico City agreement, which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control, to me is totally absurd. So I think, especially in poor countries around the world, where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have: something I very, very strongly support,” he said.
Sen. Sanders was asked if he'd make curbing population growth through birth control a key part of his climate plan. Sanders said he would, and added that US women "have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions." #ClimateTownHall https://t.co/XrKpnefUOE pic.twitter.com/hgWfq0bJ50

Hang on to your wallets because Sanders just upped his previous proposal for “free” health care in the US and extended it to other countries. Thank goodness this isn’t the front runner for the Democratic party but the fact that this is even out there should concern all taxpayers.
