After a very short investigation reports that a “noose” was found in the garage of NASCAR’s only full-time driver have been debunked, the FBI has found that the noose was a pull rope. FBI agents also concluded that the pull rope in question had been installed since at least last fall.
From the Associated Press:
U.S. Attorney Jay Town and FBI Special Agent in Charge Johnnie Sharp Jr. said its investigation determined ‘although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week.’
A crew member for Richard Petty Motorsports discovered the noose Sunday at the Alabama race track. NASCAR was alerted and contacted the FBI, which sent 15 agents to the track to investigate. They determined no federal crime was committed.
The statement said the garage stall was assigned to Wallace last week in advance of the race scheduled for Sunday but held on Monday because of rain. Through video confirmed by NASCAR, it was discovered the noose ‘was in that garage as early as October 2019.’
The agencies said the evidence did not support federal charges.
Bubba Wallace is not taking the criticism well either and appeared with Don Lemon on CNN.
Wallace said, “I’ve been racing all of my life, we’ve raced out of hundreds of garages that never had garage pulls like that. … It’s a straight up noose.”

Far-left activists, Jemele Hill, who was run out of ESPN and is now an MSNBC contributor still took the opportunity to call all NASCAR fans racists.
It. Was. Not. A. Noose.
But @JemeleHill used this fake news as justification to call ALL fans of NASCAR racist.
Hill called the original (fake news) report a, “stunning, shocking, appalling, disgusting remind of who this sport is for.”
